- Flexibility of dosage for children under six years of age.
- Suspensions usually contain 120 mg in each five millilitres.
- Doses can be given in 5 ml spoons allowing a dose down to half a spoonful (60 mg paracetamol).
- Main use is in the treatment of fever associated with childhood infections and the discomfort of teething.
